Business Development Representative

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers via telephone and email to describe products and/or services in order to identify selling opportunities
  • Meet and/or exceed department metrics and goals
  • Place a minimum of 80-100 outbound calls each day
  • Develop and organize in-depth territory and account knowledge including contact information, roles & responsibilities, as well as current and future technology installs
  • Maintain accurate daily record of sales activity using CRM system

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and telephone skills required
  • Proven ability to generate qualified opportunities within the C-level/VP-level
  • Amazing multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through
  • Very strong internet skills and high comfort level using web based applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment and a strong work ethic to effectively manage your time to drive sales within your territory
  • Experience in software or web application sales is preferred
  • Experience using salesforce.com or similar CRM system is a bonus
